Wanna get your easily resume into the hands of numerous companies? Submit your resume to be part of IEEE's resume CD. We will combine all of the resumes we receive and distribute them to companies attending the career fair. To submit your resume, send in your resume in pdf format to Anisha Gorur atg8f@virginia.edu. Make sure to format the filename as follows:

Ex: Light_Computer(2012).pdf
Remember, in order to be a part of the CD, you must have paid your dues. Resumes are due by September 16th.

IEEExtreme Programming Contest

September 12, 2011

Are you competitive? Do you enjoy programming? Participate in the 24-hour IEEExtreme Programming Contest. It takes place on October 22, 2011 and you can compete of groups up to two. The grand prize is an all expense paid trip to an IEEE event of your choosing anywhere in the world. In order to participate, you must be a member of the IEEE international organization. Registration closes October 7th. If interested, contact Allison Light (aml9j@virginia.edu)

Want to serve the Charlottesville community and be a mentor? This semester we have two exciting service opportunities, Computers4Kids and the Science Fair Mentoring Program. Volunteering for either project would require 1 or 2 hours per week. For more information, contact David Yi at ty6py@virginia.edu.

Dues

Dues for our chapter will be $15 for new members and $10 for returning members. Benefits for dues include:

  • Attend member-only events (S'mores at the dean, private networking events)
