Dr. Benton CalhounBen received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering with a concentration in computer science from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, in 2000. He received the M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. In January 2006, he joined the faculty at the University of Virginia as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. His research interests include low power digital circuit design, sub-threshold digital circuits, SRAM design for end-of-the-roadmap silicon, variation tolerant circuit design methodologies, and low energy electronics for medical applications. |

Jiajing WangJiajing received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 2000, and her M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University, China, in 2003. From July 2003 to April 2005, she was an IC design and verification engineer in the Shanghai Design Center, Agere Systems, Inc. In fall 2005, she was a graduate student in Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In Spring 2006, she transferred to the University of Virginia and started working in the RLP-VLSI group. She was also with Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. as an intern in Summer 2007. Satyanand NalamSatya received the B.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2004. He has worked as a R&D Engineer at Synopsys from 2004-2006. He obtained an M.S degree in Computer Engineering in 2008, and is now working towards his PhD. Currently, he is interning at ARM. Yousef ShakhsheerYousef received the BS degree in EE/CPE from UVA in 2008. He is working towards a Ph.D. under Professor Calhoun in the RLP-VLSI group. He is current working on Panoptic Dynamic Voltage Scaling (PDVS) and the electronic design of an artificial whisker. |

Randy MannAfter receiving his Masters degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science in 1982 from Notre Dame University, Randy joined the IBM technology development team in Essex Junction, VT. He worked for 25 years in the advanced silicon technology development group with IBM. He has 71 US patents and 38 technical papers in the field of semiconductor devices, microelectronic structures and processes. Sudhanshu KhannaSudhanshu received his B.Engg. degree in Electronics and Comm. Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi Univ in 2005. From Dec 2005 to June 2008, he worked as a Circuit Designer at Texas Instruments. In Fall 2008, he joined Univ of Virginia as a graduate student and Research Assistant.
