Background:

Galen Plunkett has over 30 years experience in large system architecture design and development. He is currently Vice President of ASSETT, Inc, an engineering consulting firm that provides high-level system engineering and architecture development services for various military and commercial clients. He started his career with IBM Federal Systems, and served as the Chief Technologist at Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems in Manassas Virginia. In this role, he was responsible for the development of COTS-based system architectures for various applications including New Attack Submarine C3I System and for devising common architectural solutions and technology strategies for a number of Naval platforms.
