I am a campus representative for USENIX, the Advanced Computing Systems Association. Since 1975 the USENIX Association has brought together the community of engineers, system administrators, scientists, and technicians working on the cutting edge of the computing world.
USENIX supports its members' professional and technical development through a variety of on-going activities, the most important for students being a generous stipend program to attend USENIX conferences as well as research grants.
As a campus representative I maintain a library of all USENIX conferences and other materials.
